''Through the endless world of stars, only one is in motion and has a purpose- to travel endlessly through the sky and discover it's wonders with it's glowing glory''

Lunar

The main protagonist of the story, an enigmatic creature filled with natural curiosity, born from the coldness of the sky and heat coming from the sun. His story will be revolved around traveling through various corners of the star sky, exploring and encountering other creatures along the way. Each encounter has it's own obsticles, which prevent him from reaching his endless goal - How will he be able to resolve them?

What is the inspiration?

When i was young, I used to often watch czech fairytales on dvds, which were still around during my childhood, or through a television channel called ČT1 (around 6pm it would often play a short intro with a boy called ''večerníček'', before playing the actual fairytale. there was a small tradition revolved around this program- everytime the fairytale ends, all children would tuck themselves in bed and go to sleep) There were many among many fairytales that I used to watch, but one has made such an impression on my youngself, that I couldn't help but rewatch it on my dvd constantly-

Rákosníček

Rákosníček (The little reedman) is a very simplified serie of a little guy, who always tries to resolve issues of other creatures by either (usually) helping them or sabotage their plan, if he deems it hurtfull. each episode has no impact on the storyline, meaning you don't have to watch them in order, as all the characters present in it have only one dedicated episode. There are three shows revolving around the reedmanRákosníček a hvězdy (The little reedman and stars) (1975)
Rákosníček a jeho rybník (the little reedman and his pond) (1983)
Rákosníček a povětří (the little reedman and wind) (1987)
The one obvious being the serie with stars (as it is the only one I am mostly familiar with) what i absolutely love about it is the very style of the animation and designs, both in characters and backgrounds

Solar Blues

once I moved on from dvds, I began watching short films on youtube and i still do to this very day from time to time. I adored the short stories they've always told, and the fact, that so many came from students projects, filled me with immense inspiration to create one aswell one day.recently, I stumbled upon a very interesting film and did it completely blew my mind, how fantastic it's animation and style was- although it is a shame, that it didn't gathered as much attention as it deserves, it's obscurity will remain a treasure to those, who managed to find it and appreciate it as much as i do

Make sure to support Gab, the author of the animation!

What genre and form will it be shaped in?

the fairytale serie will specifically be targeted towards children, as the simplicity of the story and vibrant visuals might not only catch their attention, but also expand their creativity and inspiration. however, simple does not mean primitive in this case, which means, not only will children be invested, but adults and other generations aswellWhen it comes to forms, i would propably shape the stories in a book first. Although i never had any experience with shaping a proper book before, it would definitely be a good start for it's origin. animated serie also comes to mind and would definitely be an eye catcher for public. but all of that will eventually come along...
